Please join us for SHC’s 6th Annual “A Place to Live Again” fundraising luncheon on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from noon to 1 pm. Emceed by Eugene Robinson, co-host of WCNC’s morning show “Charlotte Today” and color analyst for the Carolina Panthers Radio Network, and Ramona Holloway, co-host of WLNK’s “Matt and Ramona Show,” SHC’s signature event is one of the largest philanthropic luncheons in Charlotte, with average annual attendance of 700+.
We are raising funds to sustain our mission of providing affordable housing to men, women, and families overcoming homelessness, especially veterans and those with mental illness, substance abuse and medical or other disabling conditions. As Charlotte's first permanent supportive housing program, SHC is widely recognized in the region as an experienced leader in developing and operating affordable housing and supportive services. Our program has been proven to be successful for ending homelessness among our most challenging population.
There is no charge for the luncheon; however, we will be asking all attendees to make a meaningful gift to SHC. Your contributions directly impact our ability to expand our successful programs, reduce homelessness in Charlotte, and provide community-wide cost savings by providing permanent housing with the on-site services and resources needed for continued resident success.
Help us bring an end to chronic homelessness in our community. Together, we can do this!
