Announcing New Board Member: Ryan Ballew

We are excited to continue to expand the SHC Board of Directors and welcome Ryan Ballew as one of our newest board members.

Ryan is a native of Greenville, SC, and has resided in Charlotte since 2007. He attended Clemson University earning a bachelor’s degree in Fiber and Polymer Chemistry. Later Ryan earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Florida during the time he live in Jacksonville, FL. Ryan met his wife Susan while attending Clemson. They have three girls ages 16, 15, and 11.

Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2007, Ryan led roles in improving efficiency and operations in contact centers, business process outsourcing, health care, and manufacturing. At Wells Fargo, Ryan and his team worked to streamline processes and procedures to better serve mortgage clients during the housing crisis. Since 2018, Ryan has been leading the Experience Delivery Team for the Investment Contact Center. This group focuses on client experiences and offering improvements that benefit both the business and client.

Ryan and Susan are active in their church community at Mecklenburg Community Church. They volunteer with the MecKidz programs in the 5th-grade classes. Ryan and Susan have taught parenting classes as part of the Meck Institute.

In his free time, Ryan can usually be found outdoors. He enjoys walking, biking, hiking, snow skiing, gardening, and some woodworking. Ryan is an avid Clemson fan and enjoys attending football games both in Clemson and visiting opposing schools.
