A Time For Renewed Purpose and Determination

As the days get longer and the weather gets warmer, I am reminded of the beauty and potential of the spring season. For us here at Supportive Housing Communities, spring brings with it a renewed sense of purpose and determination to continue our important work with our neighbors in the Charlotte community.

Over the past three years, we have faced unprecedented challenges and changes, but through it all, our commitment to serving our most vulnerable communities has never wavered. With the support of our dedicated staff, volunteers, and donors, we have been able to adapt and respond to the evolving needs for the past 30 years.

As we look ahead to the coming month, we are excited to continue expanding our programs and services to reach even more individuals and families in need. We recently announced the launch of our new Health and Housing Program in partnership with Atrium Health.  The Health and Housing Program will serve 20 households in Mecklenburg County and ensure those who are unstably housed receive the medical care that they need while also being provided a safe and affordable place to heal. “We remain steadfast in our mission to create a better, more equitable city for all but none of this would be possible without the generosity and support of neighbors like you. Whether you have donated your time, resources, or both, your contributions have made a real and lasting impact on the lives of those we serve. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. ”

“Between continuing to celebrate our 30th anniversary and the creation of new opportunities for our neighbors, we are springing into action and staying busy! In just a few short weeks, we hope to see you at our upcoming celebration, Neighbor of the Year, presented by Ally on April 27th. A limited number of tickets are still available for purchase.”

Thank you again for your continued support, and here’s to a happy and hopeful spring season!

Sincerely,
